Question: lactose free?
Answer>>
Milk protein and lactose are two different things. A person with lactose intolerance can still have milk protein. Milk protein is a protein and lactose is a sugar. The ingredients indicate only 1g of sugar, but list sucralose. Sucralose is a sugar, so this is where the 1g of sugar is coming from. Ensure Max Protein drinks also list 1g of sugar with sucralose listed as a sugar and it is suitable for lactose intolerance individuals. I have not had the Premier Protein shakes, but I've had the Ensure Max with no problems and I am lactose intolerant. see less

I am lactose intolerant and can't drink milk without utter digestive misery.
Premier Protein shakes do not bother me at all. They have whey and protein isolates.

By KatyKatMidwest on July 12, 2022
It has milk concentrate. If you are lactose intolerate you need whey protein ISOLATE to not have any lactose. Though these are delish I am lactose intolerant and have to take the pills or my stomach will get upset from the lactose in these. I really wish they would switch to whey isolate.

It is because I’m lactose intolerant and have no issues whatsoever when I drink these.

Question: iput mine in freezer and get them slushy. then i was told if i freeze it take the protein out. is this true?
Answer: A PHYSICAL change ONLY takes place when freezing milk products; CHEMICAL changes do not take place. So NO, milk proteins do not become 'damaged,' nor do they 'disappear' when they are frozen and then thawed. The same is true for all MEAT and PLANT proteins, except that meat and plant proteins do not have the characteristic separation of mild proteins from water in a gallon of milk when thawed. Cheese freezes well. see lessBy littleoldlady on December 15, 2021No, protein does not magically disappear with freezing. If it did, millions of chicken breasts, steaks, etc. would vanish from freezers around the world...
Question: Which flavor is the most delicious? I am very picky with protein shakes. Which taste best between chocolate and stawberry?
Answer
I am a chocolate lover and the chocolates (chocolate and cookies and cream) taste bad to me. I usually love peach flavors but again, not this one. I do love the banana and the vanilla and drink one a day. It's hard for me to choose between the two so I have to just alternate or I'd never get the decision made.
